Today went to give out flyers of QBC's lantern festival to those block which near our church. We were not just put inside the letter box, we went house by house to invite them to go. The old folks quite defensive at first when we knock on their door, they tried to drive us away but until when we told them "Chopstick Sister" ( who are famous singer in the 70's) will be performing in QBC, their face brightened up suddenly. Very interesting and so effective.

After that Debbie and I went to Cathay and watched a film called "Little Red Flowers". Very nice and interesting film. Cinemagraphy is nice, the kids are very very natural. I really admire how the director direct the kids. The way that the director wants to tell the story behind the film is very interesting. So if you like this kind of film, you must go and watch.

Previously I was finding a key generator for a game which Debbie wanna crack. Then I use her com to find and try and make her com kanna Trojan. She was upset and I was so sorry. Then I tried to find some solution on the web to solve this problem but don't work. But thanks my friend Teck Chin who intro me a program called Spybot to destroy Trojan!!! and Debbie back to happy girl again.

Today is my 4th day of work. Everything is fine. Boss is good, colleagues are good bcos they are my schoolmates. Then lunchtime boss will drive us to some hawker centre to eat. A few times had lunch at Magaret Drive Hawker which near to QBC. Then now waiting for the busy period to come because my friend said more projects are coming in.

Tomolo night will be given out lantern with Debbie with QBC people in the neighbourhood. It's a very good experience for us because we never did that before. Quite excited about it.

Tomolo is friday and Saturday got fellowship again!!!

Today is my sports Gao4 Gao3 day, because in the morning I swam with my mum at Tampines swimming complex, then in the evening had badminton session with Antioch.

In the morning, we swam for half an hour, then ate subway as "brunch". Then rushed to Soar meeting, quite a nice and enjoyable meeting that I had today. 2 hours meeting which is just nice. Programme, reflection of past 3 months and chit chat about the funny parts of our primary school life.

Then after fellowship time, Jienan and I joined Antioch for badminton session, 5 guys playing for an hour at Delta sports complex. Quite a good exercise within an hour.

Nothing much today, one more day to start work.

Today I woke up very early because today is my very last weekday before I start work. I woke up at 7.30am and follow my dad's van to Ang Mo Kio, then transfered bus to Laiyi house to reformat her computer because infected by virus. Then reached there almost 8.30am, then reinstalled all the programs and taught her how to reformat the computer and how to create blog so that she can play blog while having holiday.

Then I was planned to go swimming but I think spending more time with Debbie is better, so I bought lunch for her and visit her. Then we chit chat and surf net till evening then I went home and watch tv liao.

Tomorrow plan to swim with my mum in the morning at Tampines swimming complex before go for Soar fellowship meeting.

This is how I ended my very last weekday. :)

Today woke up very early, then I went to Chinatown with my camera, wanna do some shooting. But unfortunately, I couldn't find anything to shoot. But I am happy that finally I had time to visit Keong Saik Street. So I only have these 2 photos that I like throughout the whole shooting.





After that met Pins and Rachel for dinner at Katong, there's a western food shop, the food is yummy and low price. We had a good chat tonight but the time was too short.

I enjoyed today's activities. I went to library to read up some magazine and borrow some books, then I went to Tampines swimming pool for a swim and enjoy the sun. Then I went to Debbie's house to deliver a packet of fries to her and played Puzzle Bubble. I have to treasure my days before I start work on next Monday. So I have to swimm as much as I want. haaa...

Today saw the news of Thailand on political crisis. While Thaksin went to US for a meeting, the 3 army commanders take over his post and rule the country. But now they are still waiting for the King's decision.

All of us in Singapore should thank God that we have a group of good ministers and government who look after us. There's a chinese saying,"Don't born in a good fortune but you don't know you are in good fortune" [did I translate correctly?] hee ..

Today I was browsing some design books in Kinokuniya to update myself. In front of me there's 2 girls who look like student from design school, they were flipping some typography book, then suddenly they took out a camera and start shooting some of the pages that they want, with flash somemore! and in front of me! I was so angry that how can they do such thing? and shot with no shame because there's other people around them. Then I went to the counter and told the cashier to check them out. But seems like she went to find someone to do it. But I had done my part to expose the uncivilise acts.

Sigh, what the world~

After 2 years since Debbie left to Ireland for 3months internship, I bought a Terapin. Today, I decided to let him go, because 1st of all it grow very fast, and now it don't look cute like when that time I just bought him, it looks like a monster now who will eat me up anytime. Secondly, I find that he seems like want to have freedom, everytime when I take a look at him in a small tank, he will crawl and crawl, trying to break the tank. So today I brought him to Queenstown McDonald's Terapin pond and let him go. There's a mixture feeling in me, feel sad that my 'pet' who've been with me for 2 yrs, now have to go and feel happy that his wish comes true, he can has his freedom, swimming around in a big comfortable, nice environment pond with other Terapins. The moment I put him on the path near the water, he seems like don't know what to do, he just look around, look at me like "what you want me to do?", until I gave him a push, he dash and drop into the water. After a while, he flowed up and look at me for a while and swam away.

May God and other Terapin take good care of him. Farewell my Terapin!~

Finally, after so long I finally start blogging.

I got a job offer finally after 2 whole months of searching. But I think is God's plan to let me have enough time to finish up Music Space Branding (logos, invites, doorgifts, screensaver, flash advertisement). Lexis Branding take me in as a Junior Graphic Designer. I was overjoyed because the boss contact me right after the end of the Music Space event. Miracle from God! So i will start working on the 25th Sept.

I have just finished Auntie Michelle's DVD flash presentation of her family for her Dad's and Mum's 80 year old's birthday. The whole flash thing is simple but the exporting to DVD was killing. One of the thing is my laptop don't have a DVD burner, so I have to export and go to my bro's laptop to burn. But the irritating part is, PC's burning program don't accept mov format. So I have to export into mov, then use quicktime pro to convert to avi. The best thing is, because I did all the transition of the photos in a dividual movie clip, for those who know how to use flash u will know what I am talking about, which means her sister has 10 photos to showcase, then i made 10 photos transition into one movie clip and same for the other, then all the movie clips put in the timeline of one movie clip, which means the 1st level timeline only has one movie clip instead of 5 ( bcos got 5 family members). But after I export into mov, it showed nothing!!! Michael (my bro) I spent 2 whole days and nights to figure out how come like that, and we did tried some 3rd party program which don't export what we want. Desperately, in the very last minute before I had to submit to Auntie Michelle, I put all the movie clips on the 1st level and it works in the end.
