Wah, long time no blog liao ... these two weeks very busy.

Soar had a combined treasure hunt with glowing. Then the daoshis and committees plan together. We made them go to some places that they never been there b4. Ask them to go chinatown to get a china rice bowl, go little india to buy a perfume, go Haji Lane to find a survilence camera which is painted one, etc. Then the committee and daoshis went to ikea to buy prizes. ha, very fun trip shopping for prizes in ikea. 1st prize: ikea table lamp which is my favourite + Giordano sponsored 30% off voucher. 2nd prize: ikea big pillow. 3rd: ikea throw. 4th-6th: ikea pen holder.

Last week working in Thong there for a brand's event. Then bcos the client need to give out media kit for the media, so they only need 50 boxes of media kit. If we send for offset, will be expensive. So he asked me whether I wanna do it or not. which means he print out then I cut, fold and package the boxes. $50 per box. Of course I take bcos that amount can pay for my sch fees loan. But at the sametime I had to finish Yasmine's wedding card, but thank God He sent me an angel, Debbie, accompany me(on msn) try out what she think is suitable and thank God Yasmine likes it and use for her wedding invites. So Yasmine's wedding card is designed by Debbie and me. haa .. Then at the same time, last saturday soar's bible study on Quiet Time leaded by Carmen and me. Then I worked at home till 2am then start preparing for the bible study. Thank God that those info I found is useful and easy to understand and tell soar.

On Sunday after soar meeting, I met my dad and mum to ikea. haa ... finally I got myself a Sesame Street dustbin!!! ( the big kind where cookie monster living) at discounted price $9!!!!!!! But dunno what can I use it with but just buy 1st.. haa... Then after that I started my cutting and folding of boxes night. 50 boxes. sounds little but is hard. The most tough part is cutting part. bcos cannot cut wrong ma. Then my mum help me to paste double sided tape. I did till 4am and woke up at 9am to start again. Finally nightmare is over, mission accomplished, last night at 2am. My right hand's thumb gone numb until now. But ok la ...

Today PageOne called me and said they offered me a graphic designer post. So my "holiday" will ends on 8th April. Thank God finally I got a job and somemore is just behind debbie's house. haa ... I can lunch with her before she go out for shopping when she comes back. Hope this job can last la. I dun wanna change job alredi. sick of it ...

Today after interview, I decided to take a walk at Tampines Interchange where tampines mall and century square are there. Then I walked pass century square's cinema, saw the movie "300" which I wanna watch for long time. So I decided to bought ticket and watch alone. Can you believe it? This is my first movie which first time I watched alone in my life~ Then walked into the cinema, inside smell weird, and my seat was allocated between two big size men with their lady partners. Make me miss Debbie. Good seat i got, middle row and middle seat in the row which chosen by the ticket seller. Nice movie. Makes me thought of before Israel reform their country, they were attacked by the surrounding countries but they stands still and they finally called that land Israel. It talks about although the number of people far less than enemies, but if the whole team work together, watch each other's back, applied what you have learn during training, you can win the war. Which makes me think of although Singapore is small country, but if we stand for each other, we can defend our country. But the warriors all died in the show bcos of the traitors. Just 2 traitors can ruin the country. Sigh ... So if you think you are still from Mars, please leave planet Earth and back to Mars. Don't turn planet Earth up side down.

Last and this week I was working in Thong's company, who is my senior and my ex-creative director in an agency. Although I worked to 8 plus 9, but I don't feel the tiredness. Like last time I worked somewhere else, I felt sian, but here no leh. Quite fun to work here bcos the projects he took back quite fun to work with. Busy ah, but fun, and thong's company is near to my previous company where I left, so almost every afternoon we will eat with Steven, who is my 1st full time job colleague in my life, and Rya. Then after work I go back home and design Yasmine's wedding card. Quite challenging for me bcos wedding card to me is not easy to design bcos have to customise who is the couple and what suits them the best. And somemore is the couple's important event, so a bit stress but is a good things for me bcos I can challenge myself.

Debbie has been in Brisbane for one month liao, 9 more months she will be back~ 9 months x 4 weeks = 36 weeks more! very fast one ...

I watched Music and Lyrics with Soar people, bcos I always want to watch movie or go out with them, so on sunday after had lunch with them, we went to watch the movie. Nice songs, funny movie.

This Saturday is Youth Zone treasure hunt, may God give us good weather and everything run smoothly.

This Friday going to PageOne for job interview, hope can get in~~

Wah, today I worked freelance in a design studio at Hong Kong Street which is near Clark Quay. At around 12pm, I work work work and suddenly I felt dizzy, but I felt strange how come I dizzy, the chair also 'dizzing" leh? Then my boss suddenly said, hey, do you guys feel anything? Then I said yah. Then I looked at the clock, it was swinging left and right on the wall! Then I asked my boss to see. Then we concluded that we were not dizzy, it's tremor!!!!! It last for around 10sec. Then my boss asked his friend who worked around the place to double confirm and they said they felt that too. Then he went online and checked that Indonesia had a 6.6 earthquake. I saw the people from other buildings were evacuating. But my boss said aiya, dun need la.

This is my first time in my life experienced that. I saw the newspaper said other places in Singapore got tremor also but more stronger than us. Now I can feel that how the earthquake horrified the people in indonesia, please pray for the people who stay in that earthquake area.

Past two days I was freelancing in Thong's office in Hong Kong Street doing some banner and brochures layout and FA. Then on Friday night was eating with Thong, Vivian and others for reunion dinner. Before the dinner, Thong asked me to play DOTA with him. haa ... He teaching me lots of skills in DOTA. very fun ...

Then Saturday went church early to meet Soar comm. for youth zone's one day tour. In the end we decided to do island-wide treasure hunt. Hope no rain on that day and hope everything run smoothly. Then today Soar's topic is talk about BGR stuff. Just to let Soarer know more about how we should look at BGR, what to avoid, how to handle a relationship, etc ... I was in Isaac group and he did a great job, it's clear and informative and also really can lead us into discussion and made us think more on some of the problems. Then at night Antioch, Joey brought 2 long lost friends, one of them going to be a pilot after the exam. Sigh ... so good, that's my dream to be a pilot also but I am too lazy to study books. Very nice sharing and prayer day today in Antioch.

I have done up the QBC retreat poster and flyer. But I can't show it on the blog now bcos haven't launch, gotta wait till next week then can show. I quite like the poster but I think can still be better. Hopefully it can really tell people the message of this year's retreat la ... For the poster I worked with Auntie Nancy who is Carlson's mum's younger sister. She is cool to work with. Very decisive, she will listen to what I wanna express in the poster and she agree with it. Not only this, still got many other things is quite cool but dunno how to say.
